WF Toronto Dads vs Young Studs – UPDATE on format for the group wrestling action
We are all set for our Dads vs Young Studs group match on Saturday July 26th from 12N-2pm. We will be at the Town Suites Inn – room XXX. I will post the room number when I check-in on Thursday.
Here’s the format:
We will start off with Dad/Young Stud tag team submission action. I will pair up Dad/Sons and we will have 2 matches going on at the same time. 15 mins matches. We will rotate every 15 mins for the first hour.
Let me know if you want to be paired up with anyone for the tag teams and if there are any tag teams that want to challenge other tag teams.
2nd hour will be just pick who you want to wrestle and go at it. Have fun!

Here's who I have down for Saturday's Dads vs Young Studs group wrestling action. Let me know if I missed anyone. I like the ideas that are being suggested for how to run the matches. I think we will have space for 3-4 matches to be going on simultaneously. For the 1st hour I suggest we pull names out of a hat for a Dad to take on a Young Stud and we rotate people every 10-15 mins on the mats. That should give everyone at least 1 match match. And then the last hour we can do some form of tag team action Dad/Stud vs another Dad/Stud or we can just have free-for-all and everyone just battles - 1on1, 2on1, 3on1, etc.

Wondering if there is any format for this gathering? Dads vs Lads? DAD vs DAD with sons watching, cheering on their DAD, SON vs SON with DADS watching....or just all out brawling!!!
That's an excellent question. I think it should be a mix of all those options.
It sounds like there's going to be a lot of guys at the match. I hope the hotel room is spacious enough for all of us. :)
we have a 2 bedroom suite with mats so I think we will have good space to wrestle but we will have to take turns on the mats. Maybe we will turn one of the bedrooms into a wrestling room so we can have multiple matches going on at the same time.
Just a suggestion, if we want to pit the dad‘s against the Sons, divide them up in two groups, put the names in a hat, and pick one dad and one son at random to fight each other. Keep Score and see which team prevails, dads or sons
