Favorite Fight or Wrestling based Anime?

Shamo is pretty dark, but its quite good.

Teppu follows this girl with emotional issues and its one of the best I've ever read.

Counting weapons in the mix, Shigurui and Vagabond are definitely up there.

Hajime no Ippo is a great anime! The characters are very charming and the animation is really damn good!

Kengan Ashura is another very fun anime. Taking a long time for the next season though.

Videogame wise, Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear, Tekken–tons on offer!

Hajime no Ippo and Baki are good ones.

I like the 90s Baki though, not the new one.

If you like boxing, watch Hajime no Ippo. Really cool fights and a really good story

That was the only one I knew of.

Street Fighter (both the various series and the films) has many great fights. Recently I like Kengan Ashura.
There are many others of course, I'll add them later...

Oh yeah, street fighter for sure. It's not my era, so I haven't seen many of those. And yes, that is the one on Netflix I believe I was referring to that I haven't seen.

My all time favourite is Yu Yu Hakusho. It has been more than 20 years since its debut. The chapter around “dark tournamemt“ is the most best written part pf the whole story.

Absolutely, I didn't mention that because that's just one of my favorite anime's period. Yeah I think it started up around the year I was born, lol. Not aging you, lol. Dark tournament was phenomenal.

So I see a lot of people mentioning their favorite movies (Enter the Dragon at the top of the list for me by the way) and shows, which I have many of as well. But I wanted to know what you guys favorite fight/wrestling based anime are. Be sure to also share a gif if you have one of it.

For me, in recent years there's two that stand out, God of high school and One punch man. I know there's that one on Netflix a lot of people like but I haven't watched that one.

Baki the Grappler could be one you’d like.

I enjoyed History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi. It’s enjoyable and silly like most shounen is, but has really good practical stuff in between.
