Amazing. Awesome that the pro on roller skates stayed on his feet as well as he did. Incredible. Regardless of the handicap...this was two hot studs boxing. The challenger who won is burning hot. Hell yeah.
Yes, I think he would have won in either of the other cases. I don't see how anybody can win wearing skates, though. Although...Zeuge showed that if he trained to do that specific thing...box in roller skates...he could eventually beat a guy probably. But yes...I think he would have probably won with either of the other two handicaps.
nice i got confused on who is the pro but i rooted for the bearded dude who won . love that rib shot in pic 2. Roller skates would not have worked nor the binds . too much instability on the rollers and the binding over the top restrictive. nice bout
Thank you, Hal, for answer. I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in this topic at all. 😛
We thus know at least how we can beat any world champion. 😋
There is a German TV show called Beginner gegen Gewinner (= "beginner against winner"), where a candidate that does a certain sport in his free-time has to compete against a pro athlete of that sport.
Since the candidate would lose in a landslide, of course, he can choose between three predefined handicaps that the pro has to use.
Some months ago, a recreational boxer called Vadim wanted to challenge a pro boxer; Tyron Zeuge, who held the WBA (Regular) super-middleweight title at that time, came forward to compete against him. The three handicaps available were:
a) mono gloves
b) exercise bands that connect hands and feet
c) roller skates
I don't want to spoil, thus take a guess at which handicap Vadim chose (granted, the video thumbnail already spoils it 😏) and who eventually won.
What handicap would you have picked?

Yeah, they're both hot as fuck, albeit in a different way.
Do you think Zeuge had won if he had used the "mono gloves" or the stretch bands?
