This is my one of my most used submissions. The video is 13" but well worth watching. It is done by Emily Kwok who has great technical knowledge of jiujitsu. This is an actual video of a seminar, well worth your time to watch and implement the techniques shown for the arm triangle.
As good as she describes every step in this video - I really think that it would be better if it was shorter and more tailored to one or two aspects of the choke.
Different people obviously have different preferences when it comes to learning, so this might as well just be my impression!
I like the way this technique is explained, and it seems simple enough to give it a try and get good at it (due to weak hips due a replacement of one and arthritis of the other,my Sensei in San Diego suggested I mainly play 1/2 guard) as this move would give me something to go to from guard besides the kimura for my body type and style. Thanks so much for posting this video.
This is a super gi-specific sweep; without the degree of grip you get from the guy having handles on him, it's really hard to make this effective in no gi unless the guy's base is shit.
Are you familiar with the switch? Or the flower (sometimes called pendulum) sweep? Those are my favorite guard sweeps.
How about posting links to any new techniques that you might find valuable to our group members here. Of course please make sure that they are available (i.e, youtube or similar public forum) and not copyrighted. This would help and I am sure be appreciated by members of this group. Thanks

No apologies needed, bro; I was just making jiujitsu conversation, not knocking the sweep. ;-)
