Such a strange concept this fixation people have with age. I never think in terms of age, only fitness. From my perspective, if you're fit enough to do the things listed in my preferences that's all that matters to me.
In fact, I can't remember every asking anyone their age – for anything – ever. But I do get it, since the two are typically linked.
Of course, the only time it might occur to me would be if an opponent is very, very, young. Such as a teenager. Otherwise, I see it as inconsequential.
I totally agree with you that the key thing is fitness. People can be unfit to actually wrestle at any age, not just because they’re older. Having said that, it’s all a matter of taste, people get their kicks out of all sorts of things, and age is one of them. The wrestler shown in the video got his kick from losing to younger, good looking guys. I for one don’t blame him 🔥😅!
