If you want to maintain that headlock while standing then you need to work him into a corner of some type, the room corner, the ring corner. Pull and hold his head in really tight and really crank on it why you twist with your shoulders. Every so often release your lower hand from the headlock turn it into a fist and drive it right into the base part of the neck or upper part of the chest just to knock the wind out of him a little bit. This is how a really great old heel friend would keep me in the hold.

Man, it sounds like you have had loads of fun like me, wrestling pro style with dirty tactics thrown in.

Yes, love it when guys get me in that tight headlock, after working it forever. You then hit me right in the forehead with a sold fist, sending me flying back. Grab me hair and set it up again.

What techniques do you use to maintain a standing headlock on a resisting opponent?

Grinding it tighter with rotation and walking your opponent around the ring can add to the fun.

Walking him around. Then dropping him to a knee
