Rounds one and two, he toys with me. His punches are solid and dominating, but only to torture me. Lots of punches on the chin, jaw, cheeks, and in the stomach. A good hook drops me at the end of round one. A killer uppercut square on the chin flattens me at the end of round two. A couple of uppercuts in the stomach are so powerful that they lift me off my feet but somehow I survive. By round three, I'm stumbling around the ring, clearly delirious. A couple of one punch drops almost end the fight, but I pull myself to my feet each time. Then, finally, BAM. Hook to the stomach and uppercut to the jaw, and I'm stiff as a board. I lose.
I suggest that if it were to go more than three rounds, the muscular boxer would tire of you dancing around and he would tie your arms up in the ropes so you are a sitting target for his fists.
He would then change his boxing gloves to small tight bag gloves and give your face a real working over. Or he might decide not to use gloves and work with his hand wraps. Then his fists would begin to rain on your face, his right and lefts bouncing hard blows to your jaw, then brutally pounding your chin but being careful to avoid going higher so as not to break your nose.
When you finally pass out, he leaves you hanging in the ropes. After a few minutes he begins to pound your washboard abs to stir you awake.
And then once you're awake a couple sharp uppercuts to the chin brings you fully back to your senses.
And then the punches start again, this time he works your cheek bones for some heavy bruising.
You have trouble speaking because your mouth is split in several places and totally numbed out and bloody from the blows. But finally you beg him to stop.
Then he obliges you and steps back to admire his handiwork. You're not ready for a hospital but you feel like it. All you want to do is go to sleep. You tell him you want to rest.
He tells you he's going to give you something to help you sleep.
He lifts your head up at the chin and follows through with a series of brutal jackhammer punches that rock your head. You are out in 10, maybe 15 seconds.
The fighter unties your arms in the ropes and you drop to the canvas for a prolonged and well deserved nap.
