To update: I'd take on just about anybody into rip and strip --- the men here into it and the dozen or so others in the USA into doing it in business suits :) –
Have a camcorder now and would love to set it up to record rip action. But I would not want to waste my time on footage as lame as these – It's got to go down at least to the undies, and the garments have to be ripped to shreds and strewn all about.
Better yet is to have some bystanders similarly dressed and have the winner of the match grab one of them and have them brawl. Use some imagination, guys.
Suit jackets can be very difficult to rip (unless very-light-summer-weight fabric). For the rip match to look more dramatic in terms of a good "violence against the suit look," it's often necessary to weaken the seams of the sleeves of the jacket and the crotch of the trousers. If ties are worn, need to be clip ons or cut and very weakly re-stitched so a serious neck injury is made far less likely to occur. I don't want to trash the match shown; but IMNSHO it lacks the zest I am used to in doing a rip match; because the garments themselves were not weakened.
