I wrestled in that ring when JJ Hart owned it and it was located off 13 Street behind Pride Factory in Ft Lauderdale. 2009 maybe I had a hot match with a Brit– Steve Shock there. Wrestled JJ Hart there and my house too. The same ring that is now off Prospect. Ring has memories. My first match there was 2018 with a wrestler from Sarasota, he turned me on to the place. The good old days!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Tritonrising (Matt), first thanks for inviting me to this group. Second---is that true? The ring place may be shutting down? I would hate to see that happen! But, on the other hand not surprised. It is a great venue, a wrestlers fantasy land under one roof...I hate to see it close up. They do tapings there as well I know. Thanks again Tri (Matt)...I still want to work you over on the ropes.

Rob did tell me yesterday that they negotiated with the owners of the building and were able to get them to reduce the cost of the lease for another year. Good luck with working me over on the ropes Blazer Boy. Triton will be out for revenge. I’m game. Name the day buddy.
We are in danger of losing our ring in Fort Lauderdale partly due to underutilization. It’s a great venue! Not only is there a ring, but a large mat room as well. The cost is 30$ per hour with a two hour limit. That’s less expensive than a hotel room wrestlers. If you want info contact me, I am happy to share it.
I did learn that lease was signed for another year. We all know property insurance is crazy expensive down here, hell everything is. Supporting the ring and mat room will make it more secure when the next lease comes up.
Well that is good...at least they will have it available for another year. There are alot of businesses on that street and I am sure some one would like to have the bldg. I will let you know Triton, but probably July after the 4th. We can discuss and build it up like before, that was hot too. Grrrrr!
