When the hero loses to the villain, at what point does he just become another jobber. It boosts a villain up to make him a formidable villain, but if the villain keeps chewing up and spitting out heroes, the heroes weren't the heroes we thought they were. I have no trouble identifying with the villain, I do too, but...
It’s a fine line to keep things exciting. Yes a hero needs to win but not every time of course. The hero has to have a nemesis, someone he comes up against who is just as powerful. In each other’s minds it has to be thought......”shit this guy might be stronger than me”.
But in the end one will always power through.
I've done that roleplay a couple of times, me and another jobber are in masks and speedos and underarmour, two young heroes that face off against two erotic villains... the villains cheat, go low, erotically torture us... chain one of us up while doubleteaming the other, force us to watch our hero partner demolished... then slurp and milk us dry of our powers... total humiliation
I prefer to be the hero but one who gets defeated and beaten up by the villain. After an even fight or where the hero seems winning, the villain hits my weak spot and thus begins the fall of the hero.
The villain should do their homework first then so they come into the fight knowing the hero’s weak spot. Fightbit out with the hero and once the hero thinks he’s about to win the fight, the villain springs up and hits the hero’s weak spot. Then down goes our hero. Open for a beatdown.
I do prefer to be the villain! but a villain that defeats the hero, despite their superior powers or conditioning. there's just something exciting about the good guy getting wrecked, destroyed, and more! (in fantasy of course. in real life, I'm team hero/good all the way!)
Totally agree! The hero is assumed to be supreme, but it turns out that due to a combination of superior strength or special skill, the villain is able to gain the upper hand, then take his time destroying the muscled hero! Ultimately, using him at will.
I can be your target hero too... expect me to fight with all my strength... even after you hit my weak belly... oh no... did i just give away my weakspot? Hahaha
Definitely the villain. I am a jobber, or a coach. It's in my DNA. It is my job to make the other guy look good. I prefer face jobber matches over heel jobber matches for that reason...
