i wish i was in london & could wrestle. instead, i'm in mid-missouri where there are no wrestlers nearby.

Great idea for a W o S group, be good to do a meet, maybe at Walthamstow, just for group members.

Has anyone followed up on the idea of a group meet at Walthamstow?

I think some of us would prefer to wrestle in private or have a 1-1. Why don't you set up a group meet for those members who like this sort of thing?

Thanks! Always loved Brit Pro Wrestling and watch many WoS matches via you tube. The best to me are the timed rounds. When bell rings you release your opponent from a hold and back to corner for towel down water break, the bell for next round. Good old pro wrestling.

I agree. There's something sexy and macho and liberating about timed rounds: towelling down and sipping water. Also, the same applies to wrestlers awaiting instructions in their entrance gear, and being spoken to by the referee before shaking hands (or declining to do so).

Yes! And in WofS matches the crowd is quiet and watching the wrestlers intently, so you can hear the grunts and groans of the wrestlers in the holds. SECONDS AWAY ROUND 1.....lol!
