Great initiative! Will definently listen!
Funny thing is I had the exact same idea just last week but never wrote about it in a blog here. Had an idea of two guys from here having a podcast about fighting and wrestling. They talk about their experiences, talk about what kind of wrestling they like etc. Then they interview other men who are into fighting and wrestling
Would be kinda cool if at any point the two guys with the podcast get into an argument they wrestle about it on the mats that are close buy and the listener gets to listen to the fight and imagine what's happening. Or that every episode ends with a fight that the listener can listen to haha

I am starting off solo. I intend to keep things audio only and it I am describing my experiences since my first session wrestling bought at London Wrestling Studio versus Dragon tooth.

I’m just wondering why you are classifying it as “underground”…. Ideas such as this name is why wrestling isn’t really understood in U.K. and seen as something akin the sexual foreplay - surely something we would like to move away from?

Good point ! I have only viewed as wrestling for my own personal reasons, but what do I call it ?

Just take out the underground bit - maybe change it to amateur??

Its not amateur, but it could be backyard, alternative or lastly underground.

Just avoid underground as it kinda defeats the point!

I don't think 'underground' means the same thing in the US that it means in the UK. Here it means more like just non-mainstream or non-organized sporting events. Private wrestling is another option although that wouldn't always apply to group meets.
You might also use the podcast to respond to wrestling questions sent in by the listeners and maybe re-use some of the questions on various shows with each guest.
