There was no log in button when I just went on mobile site. Had to click on a profile that told me must log in to get that screen

I hate it, how do you see who's online?

I see that you can write, but can you read? I mean, written words? Because the post told you the profile menu is at the upper right..

me too this new array of colors very nicely done but gets me dizzy especially looking at severe color contrast my smiling eyes are constantly trying to adjust brightness and darkness that would give us a headache especially if you're out on the street being distracted by more contrast.. I would better survive a mattress the 300-pounder comfort food lover then survive maneuvering through this nicely designed website

Even on desktop, I can't find the login.

I had the SAME experience even on my laptop. Don't know if I'm going blind or just too old to adjust to new design. Otherwise, it looks just fine to me. But WHERE is the LOG-in button on the new design? Am I going blind?

Hi guy who wrestles you're logged in now just pray that you don't inadvertently touch a logout button then your screwed big time trying to find a login button. You do better surviving I'll defeat on the wrestling mat then trying to figure out this new site designs

There seems to be a spelling mistake on the profile menu.

It says Your Favoritest Online. Extra T at the end.

I Might reorder the lists but the options overall make sense where they appear and they are simple.

I’m Happy To See The lists were kept simple and things were easy to find. It took me seconds at most as there are only three places you can click to get to a menu.

I do wish there were a way to suppress the profile picture bar from appearing on every page.

It is frustrating your rights most of the print is so small you can't read it on a phone maybe a tablet. And all the options like see your complete list of favorites I don't know where that is again I had found it once somewhere and then l lost or forgot where the link is to see all your favorites.help I'm being decimated with this new science and web page technology

Nothing is working on my IPad. I have a message from someone and can't open it. I know a lot of work went into this but why not leave it alone when it is working?

I started to delete all the comments that go "I can't find X because it's not where it was". It's OK that you can't be bothered to read the previous post, this post, my earlier comment, or just look at the screen. It's really fine. But we don't need to read about it.

No log in button. And it is hard to read with the black background. I thought I changed it once already, but I do not see how to change the background now. Many more changes and I'll be scanning less frequently. Otherwise, you had a good site. 😕

my previous comment was deleted. Sorry but it's not at all obvious that the top right circle is clickable. So doing things like that hides site functions. Also to me personally there's no benefit in hiding options away. But if feedback is going to be deleted then why ask for it?

But I would still prefer to see the "inbox", "messages" and "logout" options on the main page of messages .. I use these links much more than the others that are now listed there (and which were readily available anyway in the previous format). I appreciate your attempts to improve the site , but I feel I am not now as appreciative as before.

To make the point ... Having just typed this message ... there is no clear indication how I get back from this page to "messages", "inbox" or "sign out" ..

I always like your changes, and they’re usually for the better. This time too... One tiny detail though, and please take this as constructive criticism; The black (in my opinion) is now TOO black. It just looks rather... rushed. Again, it’s just my opinion, and I’ll surely get used to it eventually anyway, but... There it is.
Love that the mobile version layout is a bit more like the desktop version now, too. Well done again.

Well the new look good but why we cant wait till 2018 to change the site?

As with any update like this it will take a little getting used to - all I've done is click a few new things here and there to see how it all works or what it does and it'll soon all come into place.

Most importantly, thanks so much for the hard work and efforts going on behind the scenes that none of us sees and which make this site such a great experience.

Design is fine but the version my iphone is putting out is incredibly glitchy and a lot of the text or menu options actually overlap, so it's near impossible and very frustrating to use the site. Probably more an issue with my particular phone/internet.

Having used it a bit longer I've discovered the drop down menu no longer works. Comments are now squished to a single letter per line , the chat room keeps crashing and I get randomly logged out.

I've used the site on my computer for the last hour and I must say that it works fine, which confirms that it's my mobile that's no longer compatible! Otherwise, I've the changes all seem to be fine and it didn't take long to get used to them :)

No no them it's not your phone I'm sure I'm having the same problem with the glitchinesd and pages flipping at random on my Android LG phone

It’s very easy to accidentally disable (all future) notifications for a favourite when all you want to do is delete that particular notification by pressing the ‘x’ in the top right hand corner of the mobile screen - especially on the small screen of an iPhone 5s

I would say on the most part the site looks a lot better does look some what cleaner. And I am sure that once people get use to where to click to find things then they will get use to it .
I think the who's online link is some what in the wrong place , I would have expected that to be under members section . But the members section is just for search .
To find the who's online you now have to go into new stuff then click on who just signed in . After though works the same as it did before start of membership etc . But I will miss having who's online link where it was before as was always on the page at the side but sure I will get use to it :))

Hate the new design. Login link has disappeared as has the link for viewing messages once you manage to find the login screen. This is NOT progress.

Where do you look to see if you have messages? Gone from the old menu?

What's not to like? Maybe I'm looking at a different site but to me it seems tidy and intuitive. There's nothing I haven't been able to do and it's more concise.

As for Admin doing what he likes... He's probably the only one justified in throwing his teddy out of the pram based on the negative comments.

Putting most of the key functions on a drop-down menu seems to have added an additional unnecessary step to navigating the site. Not sure that is a positive change but I will give it some time to see how it goes.

Exactly how I feel

The moment I saw the new login page, I'm looking forward to it already. Being on the mobile to check out this site since forever, it's been given the proper makeover to let it shine. Thanks for all the effort. It's true, if you need to open your eyes to see somethings are just moved elsewhere to make it more convinient and easier. I've not gone through all the functions but the usual culprits looks ok and it was really much much easier to navigate. To those who says login is not visible anymore or where is my messages, well, it's pretty much the norm these days that mobile designs would park them under an icon. You gotta move with the times, really. Just accept it as the new norm everywhere.

Only downer is the mail envelope at the top keeps flashing a zero when changing pages. But that is very very minor.

The log in button is horrible. Also you could take out the symbols for freestyle pro, and so farth,they serve no purpose

As someone who has had issues using this site between mobile and desktop (and had put in a request for a fix), it is legitimately delightful that I can now access all site features without either massive scrolling or switching to the less featured mobile version.

I can appreciate the frustration admin has with people not reading the post itself to find the function. At the same time though, just speaking as someone with some UX design background, when the feedback is this vocal it really may be pointing to a legitimate shortfall or oversight.
I would have to agree with the dissenting opinions (perhaps less rudely) that putting login option under the profile picture is not as immediately intuitive as it may seem. It also requires an additional click in order to access many pages we regularly use, particularly the "who has seen my profile" page, and generally the fewer the clicks the better. Might I suggestion:

• clear login button or box on the homepage.
  • Consider that sites like Facebook, Tumblr, and even Recon always have a clear one-click login option for returning members.
  • Another option really is just to add login as another button on the front page. It's not going to take up too much space and leads to the same page anyways, but again reduces the number of clicks people need in order to get to the page we need
• For desktop, expand the dropdown menu by hovering the mouse.
  • This would be less annoying than having the click twice for an option, and would retain the integrity of the redesign.

There is no log in hyperlink on the opening page. Why has it been removed?

There has been no speed improvement as pages load very slowly especially the messages. It was much faster in October but slowed down greatly in November. Which also coinsided with my 30 days on the site? I was hoping for a faster website with this update.

Oh man! THANK YOU! I was weary of messages taking forever to display on my phone, having to jog it by switching back to the guy's profile and trying again. Now it is lightning-fast. As for everything else so far, no problem, and is very easy to browse and find everything. Will update if I see an operational problem.

By the way, my phone is android, Samsung Galaxy Avant (probably equivalent of Galaxy 4)...if that helps anyone determine different behavior on their phones.

Tried the site on my iPad mini and some of the glitches mentioned appear.

Maybe there is an issue in some devices.

If people with issues say what actual device they are using this might highlight a trend.

BUT I REMAIN A FAN OF THE CHANGES.

I really appreciate and like the attempt of a fresh new look :)

My only criticism is that some things seem a little bit less accessible than before e.g. not being able to log in without having to click on your profile on the top right corner. So I do feel some elements are less intuitive.

However, I do appreciate your efforts.

Guys with login problems, if you access the site the log in may be hard to find.

However if you go to (or bookmark) meetfighters.com/login then you get straight to the log in page.

Then the main page can be left for people or non-members just browsing sites

Or you can click on the profile icon near the top right corner. That works too.

To me, it seems there are a lot more who DON'T like / appreciate the changes than who DO. BUT, all Admin does is delete the anti comments. :(

Well it's been a hot minute with the changes and everyone is mithering on about what they don't like; what they can and can't find and just being unappreciative of the work gone into keeping the site new, fresh and evolving. Or else they are behaving like petulant spoilt children throwing tantrums. Legitimate constructive criticism I'm sure is welcome, but failure to understand how to use a website or unwillingness to read posts explaining where things are and how the changes work are probably not.

Plus, this isn't a democracy, Admin can do what he likes with regards to deletes etc. Common practice everywhere.

And so could you if you were the Admin of a website. It's one of the perks to make up for the tsunami of moans, I'd imagine.

Here's the funny twist, though: I don't just do what Ilike. This change, like many other major changes to the site, has been announced ahead of time, see?

I posted a description of all the planned changes, with wireframes and everything. I listened to comments and revised the design based on them. Guess what, those guys who are now all up in arms? None of them took their time to respond with so much as a word.

But not helping has the added benefit of now being able to frame me like the bad guy. I guess they have the time for that.

You made good points moderator. With all the notifications I've been getting I didn't notice that you had mentioned the upcoming changes in the December 5th communication to us. It just flew by me at that time.. and might have been too much for people to comprehend what these upcoming suggestions made December 5th and how it would affect us these past 5 days.. plenty of us haven't heed the warning when you first told us all these changes so we members would have to take the blame for that

A little like the Twitter rants of a clueless person in power. Just try everything, and if you have a legitimate concern after double-checking, our Admin and his helpers are very prompt and skilled to make warranted changes. Humbly appreciate, and give them regard.

Loving the updated website. I login predominantly on my phone, very happy with the changes. Thanks to Admin for the ongoing updates.

Had some issues figuring out how to log in. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but for the time being I'm in the 'it wasn't broke, so why fix it?' camp.
